 Garabed Setrakian has an intensive background in Communications from Montreal's Concordia University, as well as a diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from Grant McEwan Community College of Edmonton, Canada. Garabed began his professional career as an advertising director and productions manager for firms across Western and Eastern Canada. In Montreal, he developed a fascination with event planning for community arts and has since assisted in several productions for fundraising for the arts and social awareness in the Plateau area of Montreal.
Since 1999, Garabed has contracted commercial work for small businesses and corporations around New England. In addition to commercial work, Garabed continues creatvie projects on the side with numerous local New England artists and entertainers. Garabed joined CCTV as an editing intern and instructor in the summer of 2000. In 2002, he received CCTV's "Rudy Award" for service above and beyond the call of duty, and the following year he received CCTV's "Teacher of the Year" award.
